I’ve just purchased some AP coilovers for my car after hearing good things about them. Does anyone on here run these and know if I need shortened drop links or not? If I do need them what ones and where do you recommend getting them from.

No need for shortened drop links, unless you’re at the very bottom, which I wouldn’t suggest. 
 

 

Highly depends on how much of a drop you're going for.

On my sdi this height required shorter droplinks as the arb fouled the driveshaft on full lock.

My vRS has shorter droplinks as it is much lower.

Both are on the same ****e coilovers too.

Okay, I am planning on lowering a lot more than standard but still needs to be somewhat speedbump compliant. Where did you get the shortened drop links from?

Just mk1 ford mondeo drop links.

Motorfactors,ebay, autodoc, any of them will stock them.

Pretty cheap too.

Wouldn't bother with some spendy adjustable ones. No point when you can buy something off the shelf for much less.
