Read security pin from dump eeprom, cluster change

Featured Replies

Hi I am changing my cluster as my current one is faulty, I have increased the millage on it to match my old cluster.

I am going to swap the immo data over with vcds, but I'm struggling to get my pin.

I have got a eeprom dump from my old unit and new unit, but I'm an struggling to decode the pin, I have seen a few hex codes like '5B 14' where there is 4 matching to convert hex 145B to decimal

but there's quite a few patterns like this where there's a few matching.

I've tried to upload the dump bin file to vag EEPROM programmer and vag edc16 calculator but it won't accept the bin file.

Does anyone know how I can find my pin from the EEPROM dump, or a software I can use to locate the pin.

Any help will be really appreciated, thanks
