Hi all, my drivers door is goosed Lock window winder ,so I bought a new (To me) door ,it has elec window and locking. I can sort out the window and mirror but cannot for the life of me understand how the lock works. It in the dining room at the moment.. Can anyone shine a light on its operation please. My existing motor has manual locking and manual window'

It seems like a massive faff swapping the entire door just to change the window regulator!

 

You can buy a new regulator cable very cheaply and it's about two hours work to change it out.

The car won't have any of the wiring to work window or lock, I think.
