Hi all.

I have Octavia 2021 ambition version. With basic version and swing infotainment 8inch screen. No map nor navigation no front assist no lane assist or travel assist. I have rear sensor and rear camera.

In the infotainment screen under the driver assister I found that the cup of tea ' rest assist' I think checked .

But never worked. I never got the rest assist cup of tea warning in my dashbord. I took the car for a trip of 7 hours non stop and take it with very bad condition seek and totally sleepy .

I ask where to check in obdeleven if I have the option if it is installed or what else 

there are certain driving patterns that will activate that sensor. For example, curving after 2 hours of driving, mostly in the evening until the morning. If you look at that system, it is incomplete because there is no internal camera that monitors the pupil of the eye or the position of the head. Loaded with a stack of algorithms that do that - badly

 

In my Audi A3 2014 the warning appears automatically after 1h 1 h and half , and same thing in my old Passat 2012. Both they do not have camera on the driver and I remember that I saw the option to activate with vcds 

totally useless feature, you can put alarm on your phone it's the same

I rely on my bladder to tell me when to stop 🤣
