Skoda Fabia VRS 2011 Steering wheel swap (same model)

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I just bought a MK2 RS with low mileage but i was wondering if i can swap my steering wheel. The weel on the car does not have buttons nor paddles on it. Is it possible to swap the wheel for a same model with paddles and buttons?

There are a lot of questions about this but all of them are about a new type wheel. I want to use the exact same wheel but with paddles.

Please let me know if this is possible and what i need to do in order to swap it (coding, wiring, etc)

Kind Regards,

Nick

You can use your mouth to make the noises...

Did vrs' not all come with the flappy paddles?

I'd have thought them all being dsg would mean it's standard

that was my initial thought, unless they did not in some territories..........

I think the op has bought the car where the previous owner has for some reason changed the wheel

Mk2 Fabia vRS did not all come with paddles.

Not in Ireland or some other countries in the EU.

That is in the thread linked in the 2nd post in this thread.

Yeah my bad I red that post after posting myself 🤦‍♂️
