Hello, I would like to buy custom gauge "masks". I found them for sale on tuningsamolepka.cz but they do not ship to Croatia. Where can I buy something similar? Does anyone has any premade masks for the cluster? The pictures I attached are some pictures I found online.

I searched these many years ago, usually were in CZ stores but now can be found in other e-stores.

I remember that i had searched also for these fancy chrome-look "rings" around those gauges.

I stopped when other users informed me that they had problem with sun reflections while driving in sunny days.

I also found the ebay gauges that you posted. They are just not my taste...

That "russian" site seems like a scam.

Some years back i had stored links from some CZ stores about these aftermarket gauges but i lost my interest when i heard about problems with the main red needle alignment-the led light which have-the reflections from the sun in those chrome rings etc.

 

With Paypal payment you have more security in payment with e-stores.

I will not be putting chrome rings because of the shine.

 

I will rather find someone from CZ to buy those masks for me and have them sent to Croatia.

Probably just an Arduino Mega with a felicia speed sensor, nothing complicated. I was planning to make a digital felicia cluster with a screen (like the new mercedes) but it was just too expensive in parts so I gave up.

There's speed sensor 191 919 149D, that fits on gearbox output.

What about late Polo 6N / Pre-facelift Arosa? They have Felicia-like Non-CAN cluster with large warning light section in the middle, which could be replaced with a display.

If you are looking in UK English then you want "faces" rather than "masks", that is, custom gauge faces.  In the USA they might be called "faceplates".  These tend to be printed stickers (quality and material of stickers varies).

I don't think that he is going to do a ton of job and then sell it, who's gonna buy it except if it's a ''crazy'' guy which likes something ''unique''?

Privates sometimes buy project-cars but only if they have the knowledge, car sellers very often refuse to buy them and many times make derogatory comments because:

1) they don't know

2) they trying to lower the price too much.

 

Many Americans spend even 2-3 years building a car (usually Muscle Car) but "it's for Lifetime'' as they say.
