2015 skoda superb Adblue def fault.

Featured Replies

Adblue DEF No engine start in 550 miles. Showing 2.8 gallons of adblue in the tank. Injector tests good and only occasionally shows no adblue flow. Clear all codes but adblue warning  stays on.  The main stealer wants £ 790 .00 odd plus vat for pump/tank module. Has anyone else come across this fault and found a repair or a way around this problem. Thanks in advance for any replies. BOB.

I sort of have now - adblue refill warning of 650 miles regardless of how much adblue remains. After counting down from 650m to 500m the alarm would disappear only to recur shortly after. If it it does reach zero the engine doesnt stop but WONT restart if you turn it off - whilst driving in Europe I found this out from Skoda to see if I could actually get home when approaching a main dealer in the Netherlands who wouldnt touch it. The main dealer at home had already reloaded engine management software which reset the adblue counter before my holiday to 4500m but not for long, it soon reverted to 650m notification. The main dealer on returning home has now replaced a 04L907807DMNox sensor for the sum of £560.40 plus tax and will wait and see if this is the cause of the alarms. Out of warranty on a Skoda then thses parts certainly cost you. Pity they didnt do that in the first place as it screwed up the holiday.
