OEM head unit update

Featured Replies

Hi there!

I have a 2015 NJ3 (15 plate) and I know that most Fabian’s with 65 plates onwards have Carplay on the Bolero, but mine does not as it is just off that mid-year update.

I was wondering if it was possible to update the software to where it would have Apple Carplay or Android Auto? On the website there is only Language updates/Radio station logos.

Alternatively, is there a way I could buy a newer, but identical looking Bolero which has Carplay and do a hot-swap?

Thanks for any help!

You hae simplified Bolero unit with DAB, part number 5Q0035820. With this ersion it's NOT possible to have Apple CarPlay neither Android Auto, you must have tit replaced either with Bolero 5Q0035842x / 656035842 or Amundsen 5Q0035874x / 565035874. If you are interested in such retrofitting pls contact me on PM.

Hi @pab567 I'm interested in upgrading the infotainment system in my Skoda Fabia 2015 (before MY22). I can't PM you. Is there any other way I could contact you?

Hi, welcome, using the green highlighted @ thing (I've no idea what it's called) will make contact via your post.
