I think it's a bit loud, coming from a 1.6 TDI. 

Engine light on for glowplugs, replacing soon.

Also please don't slate me, I know it's a Passat not a Superb but lets just say the Volkswagen forum was bloody useless🤣 they are the same mechanically anyway.

Sounds normal to me assuming the chirping is birds and not from the engine.

Thanks, I started a Kodiaq at my local dealer, sounded the same. Any yes those are birds!

Just double checking: post above says 1.6. clip says 2.0. Either way sounds ok to me.

What I meant was my last car was a 1.6 TDI superb, I've come from it! Could've phrased that better to be honest.
