Parking Sensors - false positive when high temparature oustide

Featured Replies

My new Kodiaq from jun-23 is having an issue that when the temparature outside is high (like the last couple of days), my parking sensors give a lot of false positives.

When I'm for example a traffic light the parking sensors will constanlty beep (even red) when there is absolutly nothing there.

Has anybody also experienced this?

No.

Next question?

Hi i have same issue with left sensor, 3 days old car, when i stop on traffic light, left edge is sounding red like you going to hit something, although there is nothing there

I guess that is not normal behaviour, I think me next course of action will be to contact the dealer.

Did you contact the dealer, I will be doing this next week as i drives me mad that they go off with nothing in there.

Mine did this with front left sensor when it was really warm a few weeks ago but it's stopped since the temps dropped.

Update:

I took my kodiaq to dealer where i bought it at Porsche Croatia, Split for check, they told me they tried to replace sensor , but issue persisted, they dont know how to fix this (imagine this), so they have sent question to Skoda factory....so i am stuck with sensor not working properly, i i am asking how did they allow first in factory then at dealer  (they have done zero interval service), they had to notice this because they drove car aroubd dealership.......they are doing this on purpose, they are assembling cars with whatever components they manage to get hand on, i am thinking what problems i can expect in future. I am tempted to loose warranty, warranty from obviously not competent service department, bunch of kids learning job on peoples cars.

LAST VW concern car i will buy i should went with mazda cx-60
