Waze driving instructions

Featured Replies

Can anybody help me?

I have just lost the driving instructions form Waze from the panel between the Speedo and Tachometer. Up until yesterday there were detailed instructions in the Nav section of this panel, now all I get is a blank screen, If I use the Car Navigations system the instructions appear as normal. Any ideas, what have I done???

Waze is connected via Android Auto and all of the other elements seem to work fine. I have reinstalled Android Auto with no effect.

I use Waze and have never seen the instructions on the dash as you describe. You can change what appears there using the green scroll button on rght side of steering wheel if that helps.

I've been using Android Auto for many years now and I've never seen instructions (Waze or Google Maps) shown on the driver's centre cluster.

Same deal with those who have the Virtual Cockpit.

It will only ever show the built-in navigation maps and directions.

Skoda has never had maps from 3rd party apps show on the instrument cluster to my knowledge.

2021 cars onwards have directions show but not the map - here's an example on a Tiguan (look at the HUD). Not sure why they would've disappeared

As others have said you will not get any other third party application displaying there, this is for Skoda navigation only, the third party applications display on the main infotainment screen.

Yep, I have Waze connected via CarPlay to an MIB3 infotainment system and I absolutely cannot get it to display in any form on the virtual cockpit display (but displays fine on the main central screen of course).
