Quiet tyre recommendations?

Featured Replies

I also have Michelin cross climate 2 and can say they are very quiet. All round good Tyre if a little expensive.

225/55r17 97Y    C  B  69dB    Michelin Primacy 3 gave huge improvement when replaced

215/55r17 94W   C  B  71dB    Pirelli Cinturato P7

225/55r17 97Y    C   A  71dB    Good Year EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC 5 SoundComfort (~2cm Foam in the Tire)

gave completely different sounding, but i can't say they were quieter than Michelin

Hello Does anyone have experience with VENTUS PRIME 2 K115 (235/45R18 94W) tires? They are advertised as having a noise level of 67db? I am buying for a superb mk3.

My OEM tyres were these and when I renewed the back tyres @ 26k, I replaced them with the same. So I can't really compare. The front ones had been changed to Pirelli prior to my getting the car with and IMHO the pirelli are noisier. When they need replacing I will use the ventus prime again.
