Activate features (buying or not)

Featured Replies

I wonder if I can activate some functions in my car.
Using the infotainment there is a section where one can purchase "accessories" or activate features

For example, let's say light assist. https://www.skoda-storyboard.com/en/light_assist_en/

I can activate for a month for free, then I have to pay (I think 169 euros) to have it forever.

So, no hardware luck, just the right coding is missing.
Any idea where to look for it?

Didn't even know that it existed. TBQH

I'll have a look at what's in there next time I use the car.

Just check it.

I did last night, there is only one option that I may consider but it's on contract until 2024, so no hurry.

Probably is the Care Connect (gives you the ability to check the car from distance through an application)

Mine has the Light Assist,   Traffic Sign recognition, Navigation.  Free for the one month, then you have to pay for unlimited time usage.

I ordered my SEL iV with traffic assist, but was really surprised to see that light assist was not an option you can order!

I wonder how much it will be to purchase through skoda store in the UK

Anyway, i would like to search how to activate the Light Assist.

If it is a matter of coding and adaptation, i can do it with OBDeleven, or VCDS or ODIS

But i don't know it is possible without FEC codes. Anyone knows something about it ?
