Fabia 2015 (Swing I think) Android Replacement Stereo.

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I got my first car 2 weeks ago, 2015 Fabia pretty sure it's pre week 22 as it hasn't got Mirror Link or Smart Link.

I've been looking up ways to get android auto on it and so far most of the companies I know that install carplay or android don't have a system for my car.

One does & is quoting me €450.

Before I do that, is there any options of doing it myself what system do I need to buy? Is it worth doing ect?

This is my current setup

Using OEM parts you can install patched Bolero or Amundsen. You need:

1. glove box unit

2. display unit

3. extension cables

You also need new USB if you want to have support for Apple CarPlay as well, not just Android Auto.

EUR 450 should be enough for Bolero but not for Amundsen.

If you are interested pls contact me on PM.

Thanks for that, I'm going to look into it over next couple of days and see.

One thing I noticed, when I press media on my car, there's an Extras option on the touch screen, but it's greyed out, I can't press it. Any idea what that's about?
