Laura's voice getting deeper overnight

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Is it just me or are loads of people having the voice reset overnight to male? Last couple of weeks it's happening 2-3 times in a week.

Plus my media will start from first track alphabetically. No idea if it's my info system crashing or related to skoda online and them doing something that is wiping out my settings?

I'm on software 1941 and in UK. Just want to know if its just me and I can raise on next oil change or If its happening to loads and it's software/skoda issue

Maybe Laura is turning into Lola 🤣

Count me confused?

87.1MHz is an FM frequency, not a MW frequency (531-1602kHz).

Might of been FM then 😅 either case the radio had completely reset and I got fuzzy noise

Or more likely Larry....

Its the post-Istanbul convention Laura speaking now :D I really enjoy it - asking Laura something and then getting Barry White answer.

Might be that I am to dumb to find it but where do you switch off the voice assistant? At random times i get propted on screen “voice not recognized etc”. Have searched the menus to noavail…

Male/female voice selection is in the language menu in settings. Don't think you can turn off

Right at bottom of list

Yesterday I asked Larry "Why is this car so bad" and he/she engaged internal air circulation for me :D

Larry transitioned to Laura when my car went in to have the 1941 update applied. Bet that was a shock for him.

Can you imagine if Larry was in charge of safety warnings.
