Same here. 1st originals “melted”. No harsh ph. chemicals of whatsoever used when washing car… atm. replaced(under warranty) sills have lasted ok!

Might be that I am to dumb to find it but where do you switch off the voice assistant? At random times i get propted on screen “voice not recognized etc”. Have searched the menus to noavail…

Received my replacement cover yesterday. After 2+ years of ownership (after having to return the original cover) from new. Pretty plain plastic one, no logos no nothing. But still better then nothing. Finally, nows time to have under the hood detailed out... Must be regional thing and distributed in some “logical” order towards customerbase in UK and where else it has not yet reached.

@BobeI don´t know about the cup holder but i can 100% say based on my recent experience that the Door sill / kick plate is utter garbage. I had mine replaced under warranty after about a month of usage and the new replacement plates started to wear off lettering right after first handwash (no extreme chemicals used etc.).

Had my head unit SW updated yesterday, ver.1806 installed. Just gave it a quick try to see if I get Carplay turn by turn navigation in virtual cocpit. Works with Apple maps but not with Waze which is my prefered app. Did not have time to try out google maps yet. Apple maps directions now also pop up on Head up Display! If only Waze would do the same, i would be happy.

Whenever I initially open myskoda app, it is always showing the same text “unavailable or moving”. Once clicking on the same parking position section witin the app it brings up a more detailed map with correct last location. After returning from detailed map view it is visulized correctly also under parking position. Somesort of a glitch in the ios app.

So far my OTA update experience has been that whenever it works, it "automagically" happens in the backround. I only get prompted once something was updated. I think once i was asked to stay stationary and not turn of the engine for the update to finish. But whenever i manually check for updates in the infotainment I end up in the infinite "checking for updates"loop. I don´t think it was meant even but the VAG engineers for every owner to idle in the car with running engine for 30 min .

Seen this one on YT. I gave it a go with some electric tape around the metal part. Some improvement but did not fix 100% for me, slight buzzing noise remained when driving with radio/music OFF.

@Mark Hiscock my car is booked at dealer beginning of July to look into the rattles. I will post back and update once it is done. Btw. mine´s a SW so the hatchback plastick thingies previously mentioned should not be the case here.

Which bonnet badge is this? Is it MK3 version. Kopacek only has full black ones for MK4 but i like the previous color coded versions like yours on the picture. Someone in another thread here said that mk4 badge slightly differs than the previous mk3 one and will not stick on as well.

Have the exact same feeling that my rattle is also coming somewhere near the rear seat. If I remember correctly i also had the same sympthoms with my previous MK3 VRS seat latch/lock wich was fixed by the dealer at some point. Hard to pinpoint the exact source as I also noticed that the plastic trim below next to the rear right hand side seat is also not as solid as it should be. This is the plastic trim covering rear door entry or sill area and meeting up with the second plastic trim piece which connects under rear seat cushion. When adding some pressure with finger it almost feels as it is a bit loose (same rear left hand side trim is however more solid and makes no sound. It is driving me nuts, need to go and complain about it at the dealers.

Have had my new car now for almost a month. After 2nd week internet connection dropped at one point. Talked to the local Skoda dealer, they booked my car in for OCU module reboot or something like that. I was tempted to pull the 19/30 fuses (have not yet been back to the dealer yet) but after reading some had airbag warnings afterwards decided not to do that. Miraculously about a week ago internet connection came back to life on it´s own after 8 days of downtime?! Must note that prior to that did full factory reset on car settings, restarted infotainment, deleted my main user. Tried adding again main user, pair keys etc. without success (as the connection was down at the time). After the connection restored on itself I managed to activate car, add main user again and log-in to škoda connect services. So far for the internet connection has worked OK for about a week now... MyŠkoda app also works finally (car stats are correctly updated, can remote lock/unlock etc.). Fingers crossed...

Tell that to my other half when she is streetside parking while there´s two screaming monkeys on the back seat
