Prior to having my 1.8T remapped I had my MAF sensor cleaned and it made a hell of a difference. Since remapping, I am feeling hesitations and a lack of power in the upper part of the rev range just like before.

I am looking to buy another sensor as I believe this one is on its way out (confirmed by the guys at Jabbasport.

Are they any differences between MAF sensors on the 1.9TDi, vRS and the 150 1.8T. Do I have to replace the sensor with the exact type which is currently on the car?

Don't know if vrs & 150 bhp turbo ones differ but i know diesel ones carry different p/n's.

Put your p/n in on flea bay (e.g. :- 0280 217 057) as most of them say what they fit.

Just had mine changed at Jabba.

You need PN 06A 906 461 L - or LX is you want an exchange MAF which will be cheaper.
