Drivers one touch window not working

Featured Replies

Hi guys my 2017 Superb the drivers one touch works on close but not on opening. I have to keep my finger on it. I've tried the various reset procedures nothing works. Other 3 windows and global opening and closing are working 100% its just the drivers. I've ordered a new switch pack. I hope I haven't jumped the gun. Any thoughts?

No gun jumping visible from where I'm sitting. :)

Both my front windows are very finicky about "touch" on the switch. How long you hold it down or up has to be perfect to get the one-touch. I adapt to the requirements, if I don't get it right the first time. Never occurred to me to replace the switch.

I find the window switches are the cheapest feeling and sounding thing on the superb so wouldn’t be surprised if more start failing soon

An update on my original post. In MY case after trying all the reset procedures I could find and lubricating the runners with silicone spray I bought the switches. 84e here in Eire. Just fitted them thanks to some helpful threads here and problem solved. Thanks everyone

I’m guessing you tried the old “pull up the switch and keep holding it after the window closes for 10 seconds” thingy?

Use a contact cleaning spray. It will work.
