Electric windows stop working?

after battery reconnected.

the method in the owners manual can be confusing, especially with 1 key

Method with ignition key turned on and battery disconnected.

(ps leave rear manual window open to access just in case)

1.connect battery.

2.close bonnet

3.remove key  from ignition

4.use key to lock drivers door and hold key for 3 seconds

5.repeat 4

open drivers door with remote should now work..

no open circuit wires!!!

I found as many have it is the  wiring loom broken somewhere,  I replaced mine with the new slightly longer one ,  didn't  solve the problem of the windows totally  , ended up having an electrician wire them into  constant supply with heavy duty switches separate ones for each window  , and relays.  Now works fine all the time as long as you don't mind reaching across the the other windows  ( no real hassle ! )
