I have been quoted 440EUR (inc tax) for a replacement EGR valve/radiator as a part of a necessary repair on my CFWA. This would be just for the part, not any labour.

This seems exorbitant even if it is a quote for an original-branded part rather than a cheaper aftermarket one, so I was wondering if anyone could direct me to information on the original brand fitted to this engine so that I could potentially source the replacement part myself, or otherwise quotes relevant to getting this part in Germany.

 

Some research has led me to believe the original parts may be from BorgWarner (Wahler), based on pictures on this website: Skoda Parts, but I haven't found anything definitive.

 

I believe for my VIN, the part it would have left the factory with would be the 03P131512D (03P 131 512 D for future SEO).

not sure who the OEM is, would need to look at the physical part for ident.......... but LOTS of options here.......Delphi is a good bet in the list of many.
