Hi all and a Happy new year 

                                                 Coming home from Norfolk the seat belt light came on got a friend to plug in his computer came up back seat belt tensioner 

                                                  As car still had a years warranty phoned local group one Skoda dealership. They had car four days phoned me back and said 

                                                  Looks like a mouse has chewed the left hand and right hand wires as electrical wiring isn't covered by warranty it will be £480 to fix 

                                                  I phoned local mechanic and he said to dear he could do it cheaper .. Phoned group one and told them not to bother putting boot back

                                                  As I will be collecting car and some one else will be doing job .. When I collected car they said I owe the £300 for doing what they had done I refused 

                                                  and got them down to £150 .. The local mechanic done the job soldered all new wires and all good £50 .. It did look like a mouse had chewed the wires 

                                                  Thinking of putting a battery operated rodent repellent which connects to car battery seen them on flea bay £25 .. Was wondering if anybody has had 

                                                   any thing similar happen to them and does the sonic repellent work ..... PS Cousin whom we were visiting has been in touch and a mouse has chewed
