DAF 894V - A red 3 door fiesta. First registered 14/01/1980, for some strange reason the computer thinks the car is in Spain. Mind you the other day it thought an import merc CLK was a 4x4.

HYA 912Y - Another red ford, Capri S engine size 1993cc manual. First date of registration 21/12/1982. Not sure of what is happened to this one, it is coming up untaxed, but not a totalled car so maybe SORN?

You can tell from the chasis where it is made. Real Peugeot geek stuff.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe that is the case with most VIN numbers, usually a code in there to denote build location, bodyshell and engine type. That's how it is with Saab, at least
