A little update for you, bit nearer to earth and a decent bit of rimmage.

does look very nice now. some nicely polished and tinted windows would make it look really nice ;)

Yep, coming along nicely. A nice little rear top spoiler - possible?

Steve

Lummox: What about black B and C-pillars, just like in my seat. I think they would look sweet...

i've done the same to my octavia estate, made quite a difference i think :)

It does make a difference with the window tints.

A little update from today. Im knackered now, 30 degrees outside and ive been out, fitted my refurbed 280mm brakes, fitted new rear wheel bearings and cleaned and adjusted the rear brakes.

And gave it another clean (twice this week!).

I dropped the back down to match the front now :)

Looking very nice

It's amazing what a difference a few "choice" tweeks do for the look of the car

That's looking good now Ross. A slight smoke to the windows is all I can see that needs doing now. Not even talking about a full-on tint, just something to darken the glass slightly. I think it's because of the darker wheels. Paint's also looking in A1 condition too.

Nice work!

Looks good in photos doesnt it. Its not actually that good, lots of scratches etc and a fair few carpark/door type dents. But hey ho, i'll get it machine polished soon and just keep it clean.

It looks like a mini Volvo T5.

Nice work again. You are rather good at this stuff I have to say.

glad its not just me that thinks it looks like a volvo if you cover the very front of it :D

  • 3 weeks later...

Yep, something Volvo-esque about the whole thing.

Coming along nicely. I think some subtle window tints (possibly black pillar trims too), and possibly tint the back lights a little too. Maybe a roof mounted lip spoiler to finish it off nicely?

The paint sure does look nice in the photos though!

I may well add a bit of red tint to the top indicator section of the lights, dont want them darker as they will just stand out against the bright paintwork.

Fitted a new front splitter today..

That is cupra splitter, isn't it?

This is a great little project and it's coming along nicely!!

That would be great as a little run around, what to sell it, LOL!!

Any possibility of getting it lower to the ground?!?!?!?

Yup :)

Do you know Lummox is the one in TDI cordoba the same as cupra. I mean, they do look the same.

Here's a crappy pic:my cordo, needs wash up

Yup thats the same splitter. Fits Vario, Cupra etc.

I have to say i was dubious about the Polo to begin with Ross but you are working your magic on her already. Lookin good.
