Ross, find a bent 1.8T 4x4, shorten a few drive shafts & prop shafts & pop the mechanicals into yours, once youve got used to it up to Jabba for the IHI conversion.

& put the old badges back on

Are you thinking about some spacers for the back wheels? They look lost in the rear arches imo...

Otherwise, its really coming along nicely.

Spacers are a little tricky at the moment due to the rear drum. It has such a deep centre bore on it nothing hubcentric will fit under 20mm as it needs to sit flush on the drum and thats too much.

However I do plan on fitting a rear beam from a Cupra on there so i will be able to get some better spacers.

Ross - what shade were the alloys repainted in? And what were the Fun's done as?

Thinking of getting the Ibiza wheels refurbed and possibly a colour change. Just wondering what to go for and what's going to look best on a silver car. Don't want it too dark really....

Both wheels were painted the same shade. I have no idea what paint was used though sadly. I just described what I wanted and my mate said "leave it with me".

He does me proud.

That is one sweet looking polo matey . Wheels will look even better when you manage to pull them out a bit.
