Good morning.

my trials for high beam assist and speed sign recognition run out tomorrow.

i dont see the point in paying £170 for high beam assist as i only use it once every few months.

i am trying to buy the speed sign recognition but it won’t let me.

any ideas as all the dealer said was try using a laptoo

Big hint there; some apps don't work properly on phones.

Still trying to sort this out.

The trial has expired, and I now cannot purchase it.

I have been online and spoken to customer service, and I cannot get an answer as to why I cannot purchase it.

I am able to buy high beam assist from the car, the app and a laptop, but not the speed sign recognition.

Anyone else had the same issue

Not the same but sounds like is linked, Mine wants me to activate Sat nav, Smart link and ACC in the shop but in the shop... see where this is heading?

High beam assist is only option for me in the shop, and I don't want that.

(infotainment online, remote access and the other useless features like parking and fuel payment are there).

Question, car is online whenever it wants to and I only need a data plan if I want to use the car to get phones and tablets online?

(As if I don't already have data for those)

We wouldn't need an active data plan to see more goodies or features to buy or activate?

Try going via Skoda Connect app on a phone, mine runs out on 01.03.24, so I'll try buying via the app, not worried about Sat Nav updates OTA etc, I use Waze or Google Maps, might get sign recognition & renew the remote thing.

Not worried about ambient lighting.
