Wycombe Motor Show

Featured Replies

As the title says really - went to the Wycombe Motor show this weekend, now it's not quite Geneva but they did have a few nice cars there including a few varieties of Exige, a couple of Jags, a slack handful of Breras and an EVO FQ-340.

That's not what drew me there though, it was the DB9s and the Volante on the Stratstones stand I went to see - unfortunately they were locked so I couldn't clamber all over them, but I had a good nose through the window and under the bonnet and managed to blag a brochure for the coffee table :D but the point of this post is how unimpressive the engine compartment looked.

It might be a hand-built 6.0 litre V12, but because of the mid-front engined layout only about half of it is visible when you lift the bonnet ... that's no good when you want to show it to your mates ... tbh the baby Alfa was more impressive. ;)

For a little town it's actually a pretty good show! I was mostly enjoying the Holden Malloo V8 pickup on the Vauxhall stand before inspecting the Jeep Commander and the new Z4M. Pretty good i thought :D

Oh and dare to be different deal of the show? Brand new V8 MG ZTs being got rid of now for £15k
