Yarrowsport rear brace - Anybody fitted one?

Featured Replies

I'm interested in fitting one of the Yarrowsport rear braces that Awesome sell. It's listed on their website as fitting the Octavia but they can't say for sure. I just wondered if anybody on here had one?

Eddy - I dont have one but have also considered this mod as I reckon the rear of the Octavia is pretty unrigid - probably mainly due to that huge deep hatch opening.

I'll keep an eye on this thread myself for any useful info that may come up.

Eddy, didn't one of the users on here develop a strut brace for the Octy rear end? IIRC it was carjackedmike. Several people tried them out and said they were good and that they fitted really well. Might be worth a try.

I pursued that for a while but the trail went dead. Mike was gonna develop one on his dad's car but in the end I don't think it happened.

Any news on this yet? I'd be interested in swapping my standard vrs supports for a straight bar across the boot
