Is that straight from the camera, or has it been photoshopped or similar after wards.

I'm just curious because of the focus. I didn't know it could be that dramatic by just changing the aperture settings.

Oh, nice picture.

I imagine a photoshop but there is a device called a "lensbaby" that can give some dramatic results and could have produced that result.

Straight from the camera I'd say, the perspective indicates a relatively long focal length and a wide aperture, resulting in a low depth of field - hence only the bit in the middle is in focus. :)

It was straight from the camera.

Zoomed out, lens on macro setting. Iso 1600 for the grainy effect.

The only photoshop touch was to convert to black and white.

Cheers for the comments.

was gonna ask if it was macro, cos that only focuses on one thing then is blurry around it...

Great pic

I was wondering if you'd gone down the IR route (see Taztastics's post) from looking at potential effects, courtesy Google.

As it's 30+ degrees here, it's comforting to look at cool photos

Hi Mo

I am experimenting with my IR filter at present, very tricky, I took a pic of my car this afternoon and it took a 30 second exposure to get a picture, I will post it up later but its not brilliant, but jopefully someone may have some ideas.
