Android Auto not starting (S23U, cable)

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Scala 1.5 Manual Style from 2022 here.

I'm struggling with enabling Android Auto on my car. I have AA Wireless so, yeah, it works that way, but I'm unable to run it via cable.

I have S23 Ultra, latest Android and HomeUI update. Tried 5 different cables. Nothing works. It recognizes my phone, but AA just won't start.

Did someone experience similar issue? If so, how did you fix it?

Thanks

New Scala 1.0 tsi SE owner and also struggling to link to AA from my samsung s23. Just get a failed to connect message on wired connection. Phone linked to car through Bluetooth ok but no Android Auto. Any help appreciated

Did you get those android auto connection resolved as I am also having the same problem?

No luck for me with Android 14 and Sony Xperia 5 V.

Older Sony Xperia 5 ii phones with android 13 work flawlessly.

No I haven't. Keep getting occasional posts suggesting software updates but unless this happens automatically I have no clue how to do this and have read it can affect the infotainment system if you mess around with dodgy downloads. If anyone has a straightforward solution can you please let me ( and others) know asap

If you have Bolero infotainment, you need the latest 1800 version.

Yes so I have been told. How do I get this ?

Would you be surprised if I told you to use search? :)
