Phone and headunit heat up when using wireless Android auto

Featured Replies

Hello, I have Octavia mk4 2024 with Bolero multimedia. I've set up the connection using the wireless option and noticed that the phone (Samsung s23 ultra) and the multimedia heat up a lot when using Waze. And ofc the battery drains quickly...

When I stop the WIFI and BT on the phone and keep using the Waze on it, it does not heat up at all, when the connection is wired, the phone is not hot, and the headunit is colder (not much, but i feel it when i put my hand on the display or on the back).

Do you experience such behavior? Is it normal or a bug? I haven't tested it with other phones.
