Superb MK3 hatch, how do I remove the rear window brake light trim to route a camera?

Featured Replies

I've fitted the hardwired main (front) camera and run the rearview camera's cable back to the C pillar, the trim on the pillar came off easily. The next bit is to run the cable up through the rubber trunking running into the top of the hatch door frame and route the cable under the hard plastic trim around the top half of the window (with the inset high level brake light) to connect to the camera located below the brakelight.

I've seen a YouTube where he used brute force to pull the trim off but he didn't bother to show the locations and format of the fixing tabs. I'm a bit reluctant to try it without knowing more about the location points but can't find any further detailed information on here or YouTube etc etc.

Advice please!
