I started to do coding with vcds, first with small steps. Now I am trying to enable lane assist and traffic jam assist. My car has MQB MFK 3.0 camera.

 

I followed the steps below, I can see lane assist both in dashboard and infotainment system. However, when I try to activate the function in dashboard, it doesn't respond. When I check the infotainment system, function is visible but greyed, and it says "function is not available'. Do I miss something in the coding?

by the way, when I do adaptation for 5F, I received the error which says:

 

"This workshop id: WSC 12345 Importer 123 Equipment 12345 was rejected by the control module. The command will probably fail. Please change the values."

 

When I click ok, it said: "Controller accepted the request. Will now read the channel again..." and the adaptations seem to be done.

to be as a reference, I found the missing part:

 

> Byte 09 > Bit 7 active ("HC 1=coded"

 

Now system works flawlessly. Only thing that I couldn't understand, there isn't green lane icon in the dashboard. when the lanes are detected, multicolor screen shows lanes in white, when lane guidance is active, the lanes are dark yellow. However, there isn't any small lane icon below the multicolor screen, next to ACC active icon. Is it normal, or further coding is necessary?

I've just coded Lane Assist today and have opposite to you. I have orange/green icon below multicolour screen but lines on multicolour part. It only shows all grey regardless of adaptive lane assist enabled/disabled. This is both with and without ACC on. Also what I've notices that I can only enable it on radio, not on assist menu on speedometer. Coding used is the same as yours

Now this is odd

I am still trying to understand how the system works. Here is my experience for the past 3 months:

-If the lane guidance is active and lines are detected: multicolour display indicates dark yellow lines, no lane lamp next to acc lamp

-If the lane guidance is active and lines are not clear: multicolour display indicates light gray line for the detected line, yellow lane lamp appears next to acc lamp until both lines are detected

-If the lane guidance is not active (only lane detection is active) and lines are detected: multicolour display indicates light gray lines, green lane lamp always on next to acc lamp

-If the lane guidance is not active (only lane detection is active) and lines are not clear: multicolour display indicates light gray line for the detected line, yellow lane lamp appears next to acc lamp until both lines are detected

 

I can turn on and off lane assist over multicolour display. However, lane guidance activation is only possible in the infotainment screen

So I've managed go get lane assist switched in multicolour display and it works fine (only sitting in wrong order and not sure if there is way of sorting this) but still no joy with lines changing colours between grey/green/orange.

I wanted to enable Lane assist on my 2017 Superb with OBDeleven, but it ended in spending 100credits and no working lane assist. It could be that I did something wrong, but this is the outcome...

I got an option in the multi media system (radio):


When I try to enable it I get "Function is currently not available":


And there is no option within the assist menu on the speedometer (multicolor screen):



Any idea? I was really looking forward to new features and now I'm afraid to enable any other OBDeleven apps.

Hi, i have a similar issue. Did you able to fix it? Everything is working fine but there are no indicators of any kind.

"This workshop id: WSC 12345 Importer 123 Equipment 12345 was rejected by the control module. The command will probably fail. Please change the values."

 

 

 

I already tried with different WorkShop codes...

 

Do you have any idea what could be the problem?

did you solved this? I have the same problem with MIB3 (same SW version 0330) 😞

No, I didn't solved it.... Afer more research I found that the module has SFD protection and this could be unlocked with VCDS or other coding software.
