I am having to replace a buckled alloy due to a fantastic pothole.
I’m trying to avoid paying for a brand new one as I have been quoted £550+VAT.

I have managed to find one on EBay however the Part Code is slightly different.

The code the garage have given me is -

3V0 6010 025F

However the one I have found on eBay is

3V0 6010 025AG

can anyone tell me what the F & AG STAND for please ?

Thanks ☺️

As you can see below, 3V0601025F is Diamond silver, whereas 3V0601025AG is Gloss black.

8Jx18 ET44 5/112 57.1 Zenith alloy rim 3V0601025F 8Z8 Diamond silver

8Jx18 ET44 5/112 57.1 Zenith alloy rim 3V0601025AG JX2 Gloss black

3V0071498E 8Z8 appears to be the same as 3V0601025F 8Z8, except for the OEM part number that is cast into it. The difference is the xxx071xxx alloy rim is in the Skoda alloy rim accessory catalogue. However, it's not in the latest one, so might not be available to order anymore. The price in Czech would be about £240 including VAT, because the alloy rims in the Skoda alloy rim accessory catalogue are priced to compete with aftermarket alloy rims...hence they are often about 40% of the factory price, ie. about 60% off the price of the factory alloy rims.

The xxx061xxx format is a factory alloy rim, whereas the xxx071xxx format is from the Skoda alloy rim accessory catalogue...and hence much cheaper.

If you find the OEM part number of any alloy rim in the Skoda alloy rim accessory catalogue, it can be ordered from any VAG parts department...if it's still available. However, 3V0071498E might not be available anymore because it's not in the latest Skoda alloy rim accessory catalogue.

If you wanted to order a cheap steel spare rim, mytyres are listing an 8Jx18 ET45 5/112 57.1 steel rim that is only 1mm difference in offset to the 8Jx18 ET44 5/112 57.1 alloy rim.

There are many places can repair them, unless you just want a good used or new one.

Hi folks,

I find myself in the same situation as the OP, and in need of a 3V0601025F 8Z8 (or 3V0071498E 8Z8) rim (silver Zenith 18").

On the off-chance anyone did buy the set of 4 off gumtree (they're gone, anyway) and has spares, I'm sure a deal can be made :)

These Zenith wheels are not so easy to find - digging around, there are a few write-offs being broken up, but obviously wheels could be in worse condition, and they're not nearby to go have a look anyway.

Skoda Uk also quoted me around £675 for a new one, which is stupidly steep given Skoda Parts Ireland (https://www.skodapartsireland.ie/product/zenith-18 - yes I know, that's the platinum one) list them at €315 ... there's just no excuse for that kind of UK markup; no way that's tax difference or import duty.

But they won't deliver to UK I don't think.

skoda-auto.cz sell them at 10,490 CZK (about £355) including tyre (https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/en_CZ/complete-summer-18-alloy-wheel-zenith-for-superb-iii/p/3V0601012H) but sadly also won't deliver here.

So if anyone has one spare or knows of somewhere that will sell one for not-stupid-markup, please give me a shout!

In the mean-time, if I got one of those Alcar 9383 8Jx18 ET45 5/112 57.1 steel rims, will that 1mm extra offset make any difference of note, or will I be able to drive at normal speeds, etc. and not have to think about it?

It'd need to be on the front (for reasons), and I have a 190 BHP 4x4 version of the Superb, should that influence things any.

Cheers

@Tonnch @CamSuperb if you are still looking I have a set of four 18” Zenith wheels and tyres available.  Tyres are in reasonable condition with some life in them.

Code 3V0 6010 25F in Silver. I’m asking £400 for them if you’re interested, but open to offers. There is some kerbing to several of the outside rims and one them is cracked on the inside rim which would need welding.
