I recently bought a skoda octavia mk3 rs from 2013. The side mirror dimming works, but the interior rear view mirror doesn't seem to dim. Does anyone know what could be the issue?

I had the same problem when I first got my L&K, for me it was simply finger trouble - the interior mirror dimming was turned off! Check the green light on the mirror, if that's off it won't dim and simply pressing the switch on the mirror turned it on.

It's on, I checked! If I turn it off, the exterior mirrors also stop dimming... But the side mirror dimming works for me, it's just the interior mirror that doesn't dim.

If the side mirrors dim then that suggests the sensors in the interior mirror are OK since the interior mirror is the master. Which kinda says to me that the actual LCD dimming part of the interior mirror has failed - unless sombody knows otherwise?

Do you have a dashcam in your windscreen? Sometimes the light from those can prevent the mirror dimming.
