Fuel gauge sensor

Featured Replies

Hi,

Today i refueled my tank to fuel. After I started the car, on the VC it’s showing that the fuel tank is half full. Does anyone has such issue?

do I have to wait for refuel or is the sensor broken?

sorry I expressed myself wrongly. It's the fuel indicator on the tight of the VC. the first day it showed that the tank is half full, the next day it showed nearly 90% and and after half hour drive it finally showed full. Also the range changed from 390 km at the beginning to 660 at the next day.

this never happen so I am not quite sure how the senzor is working and why it started showing wrong ...

It sounds like the sensor that is sticking, if its still under warranty take it to the dealer to sort it out
