Best insurers for remaps

Featured Replies

I thought I'd see what adrian flux could do with a stage 1 remap...came in at £900 which is more than double my current premium (non-remap.)

Are there any other insurers who specialise in modified cars?

I was hoping to get a stage 1 but can't justify nearly a grand a year just for insurance!

@DAN@ADRIAN FLUX might be along saying try again.

Sometimes they have ridiculous quotes.

Have you looked at the Insurance section ?

Chris Knott.

Try the ones that say they do modified.Performance direct, Greenlight, etc etc

It’s seriously worth shopping around the specialist insurers. Greenlight wanted nearly £800 for me with all mods declared (Map, springs, Intake hose, Turbo Elbow, Hardwired Dashcam, Debadged). I ended up paying less than £600 with Chris Knott which included Legal cover and the wife as a named driver. They were really helpful. Greenlight were even more if I wanted to add the wife.

Hi.

If you wanted to PM me your details I'd be happy to take another look at your quotation to see if there is anything more I can do.

Regards,

Dan.
