I am after some advice/ help 

my storage box to the right of the steering wheel (RHD) the release handle has broken off and I was wondering if anyone has managed to source one or could point me in the right direction. 
spoke to Skoda and even with discount the are quoting nearly £200 for it.

as per you have to buy the complete unit.

Has it actually broken or did it just come off?

The little plastic pin has broken off and as per I can’t locate the missing bit to attempt to stick it 

I can’t remember if the handle releases anything or whether it’s just for pulling, if it’s the later get something like jb weld plastic then wait for a scrap car to come around 

Mate, have you even tried to find a replacement? One google search for "Skoda Superb Under Dash storage" brought up a shedload of new replacement parts. Entire replacement cubby units for £40 and replacement handles (with springs) for under a tenner.

 

 

Yeah I had a quick google and all I got was genuine parts ranging from £150 and up and could not find just a handle for a RHD one, loads of listings for LHD ones and not 100% sure if it’s compatible or not.

The handle is the same regardless of left or right hand drive. Only the actual cubby changes.

 

There are quite a few on eBay, many under a tenner. Mine broke ages ago so I just bought one.

 

It absolutely didn't fit out of the box and required copious amounts of filing of the door to accommodate. It now sort of shuts, but I wouldn't trust it under heavy use in the slightest.

Apologies for replying to an old thread, but my 2016 Superb is missing the whole storage box. Mine's a right-hand drive and I cannot find one for the right side for the life of me. Any chance someone could point me in the right direction?
