ABD Lan kit finally arrived

Featured Replies

Got it delivered this morning at work along with my new DV4000 digital video camera.

Managed to get it fitted at lunch time :nono:

Took it out for a quick spin with my boss holding the video camera out the window. Sounds nice. Here is the link to the video it's about 3.4 meg. Not found out how to work it yet but quality is not bad. You can just hear the darth vader impression from the filter.

Will get some pics at the weekend when i have cleaned the car and engine bay.

Ohhh baby! Now that sounds good! Mind if I ask how much it cost you? How hard was it to fit? Are you running on a standard DV?

The car does go better even over the induction kit i had on before.

Seams to take off better from a standing start. Cannot realy notice and differance top end due to slippy roads and major wheel spining even with traction on.

Car in now clean but took me that long it was dark when i finished so will take the pics tomorrow.

Nice one!

I fitted an AEM CAI this weekend to my Leon Cupra - sounds just like yours now, very cool! I have my Forge 007P reversed, sounds just like a blow-off valve now.

If people are struggling to get the ABD CAI, I'd like to recommend the AEM kit, very high quality and it doesn't use a pump filter, it plumbs back into the CAI. I got mine from Chris at www.scotmods.co.uk for
