Extra bhp?

Considering the Kodiaq VRS has got the 262 bhp motor,I wonder whether an upgrade to the Octavia VRS may follow rather than falling behind the SUV’s ?

Is there any real point? I mean a standard RS is more than capable of losing your licence in a few seconds, more BHP often equates to more thirsty, higher insurance, higher running costs.

Also you're looking at punitive VED rates as of next year with even EVs getting charged VED.

Reminded me of this poster I spotted in Frankley Services (M5 southbound) earlier in the year. Back in the late 70’s I had a 1850cc Dolomite, alas not a Sprint.

The RS will achieve that task in something like 7 secs. 😬
