Discounts make no difference to the £40,000 & VED. If the car was already in stock, it is the Manufacturers List Price that matters @ the time of purchase. Many have been caught out thinking they managed to be below £40,000

That doesn't happen as it's the P11D price with the options included that trigger it, for my RS it would be £43k. So it's not happening.

I was just making a point that the starting point for an RS is now over the threshold for luxury car tax, the Royal Green, Water World Green & Space Violet are £855 options so just add to the agony.

For me the price is £45k with options. No. Not happening.
