I hope someone here can help me. Recently, the engine as been stalling whilst accelerating, for example as I've left a junction and am having to put my foot down to get upto speed. Each time it's happened, I've had to pull over and turn the engine off then restart, the fault then goes away. This started happening Friday evening and has happened on almost every trip since. I've adapted my driving style but is this a problem I can fix properly or is the car on the way to the scrap heap?

Cheap obd reader will pull code and say what's wrong.

Could be anything inc boost leak etc 

Mk2 Fabias are equipped with a lot of different engine types, which does yours have, please?

Say what year your mk2 Fabia is as well as what engine petrol or diesel, what cc and what gearbox.

 

Also how many miles done and has it had up to date servicing and maintenance>
