Normal engine protection.

Any warning lights?

Is the engine running normally?

What is your normal MPG then?

When were the Spark plugs changed?

Presume this is a 1.0 TSI.

16K is very little mileage for a 2019 car.

Thanks. AG Falco

^^^ As above. @FabiaMK3 is there a typo & it is a 1.0TSI 110ps?

It's a 1.1  1.0 TSI  Normal mpg 50+ & only used as a 2nd car atm. Just strange it happened suddenly and all service (package) up to date.

Is it's a 110bhp 1.0 TSI engine?

The Air Filter box needs opening to see the state of the Air Filter and that nothing else is in there.

Any Service Package likely has neither the spark plugs or air filter replaced?

& has the car had new fuel in since the end of October, the fuel now being sold is winter spec / formulation.  (Even petrol.)

As several posters have pointed out, your engine will be 1.0 (not 1.1TSI)

Is there any misfiring when you get this problem?

I would not absolutely rely on scheduled servicing actually being carried out fully.

No misfiring & yes 1.0 litre 1.1tsi

@FabiaMK3

Do you get no paper proof of anything from the Servicing.

No health check list & report of tyres depth, and any invoice showing the consumables used.

Yep, all OK at last service in January only done about 2k this year

More reason for spark plugs being replaced if needed and the Air Filter, and not running fuel sitting in the tank for week / months.

Dealers Servicing is often the stuff they say not needing done that is the issue.   They do not use parts....

Some might not look at the air filter for 6 years / 60,000 miles because they say, "Not scheduled."

If your 12v battery is the one from the factory still then the use of an appropriate battery charger maintainer, fully charging then maintaining the battery, following the instructions in the car's 'Owner's Manual and charger maintainer's booklet will help prevent further issues as we go into the colder weather particularly if the car gets so little use.

If you want to you can add more details to your nameplate thingy for those with PCs to see, mine is just an example.

Thanks nta16, very helpfull.

For the 60mph limit are you sure the speed limiter hasn't been set or switched on by someone?  See the Owner's Manual for it's operating conditions and dash lights. - https://manual.skoda-auto.com/004/en-com/Models

If it's not that you probably need a scan tool report to point you in the right direction for this issue of 60 mph.  The scan tool needs to be VW appropriate and its program fully up to date for a 2019 Fabia, plus you want the scan tool and car 12v batteries not to be too low in state of charge or there can be errors in readings and report.

Some Briskoda members are able to offer reports and more for the sake of beer tokens, others as a professional service so different renumeration. - https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/262215-list-of-vcds-owners-previously-known-as-vag-com-vcp-owners/#comment-3091029
