Hi I have the same problem with my skoda superb the nox sensor whats the location of the sensor is it the one on top of the dpf and also where can I get the vag diagnostic tool if someone can point me in the right direction please

Hi try looking for genuine Ross tech Dealers, there is one in cornwall area.

As for the location of the sensor I am not sure (not worked on one so far) as others say maybe get it mapped out, the whole system is a pain in the butt and is actually bolted onto a perfectly good engine that now has to deal with a heath robinson type  emission control contraption as part of the climate green tree hugging scam https://www.ilexa.co.uk/diagnostic-tools/vag-com-vcds.html

I have the following code: P2201 NOx sensor circuit range/performance bank 1. Is this a fault with NOx sensor 1 and can anyone tell me where it is located with a picture possibly? I am hoping it is dirty and needs cleaning rather than needing replacing. On long journeys it is sending the car into limp mode: emergency gear mode. The diagnostic gave me the P2201 reading.
