Evening all,

Looking for pointers for upgrading the headlight bulbs on the vrs, mine are pure gash, whats everyone using for better visibility?

Yes they are mate

 

Was recomended by mechanic mate to try philips xtreme vision pro150 h7 They are pretty decent and won't break the bank. He said that the 200% brighter don't seem to last long. Anything got to be better than the standard halogens. Whats the condition of your lenses Mine were starting to go a bit cloudy so polished them up with a holts kit. Made a fair bit of difference on both my sons fabia and my old octavia.

My lenses are in good nick to be honest, just the crappu headlights I cant deal with anymore!!! Thanks for giving me a heads up mate, cheers

On my prefl it was the projectors themselves causing the poor light output. The reflector inside had burned out. Even LED bulbs didn't help. Had to swap out my headlights.

On fl cars if I remember correctly, the projector itself can be changed as it fits through the back

On our Mk2 Pre-FL I dropped in some 35w HIDs and they were a massive improvement.  Also fine at MOT time too.
