  1. Could also be fuel line rattle. They become loose and start rattling against the floor. Check the fuel lines underneath and if they're loose you can use zip ties to fix them into place.
  2. On my prefl it was the projectors themselves causing the poor light output. The reflector inside had burned out. Even LED bulbs didn't help. Had to swap out my headlights. On fl cars if I remember correctly, the projector itself can be changed as it fits through the back
  3. You will be fine, I have set of ronals with the same specs. Check my profile cover photo if you want to see how they fit. With 17x8 et37 I could run about 10-15mm spacer and it would be flush with the fender.
  4. More than likely your projector reflectors have burned out. Mine had very poor light output even with LEDs, with halogens they had the same output as my fog lights. iirc you can replace only the projectors on facelifts very easily. Another option would be new headlights. Going with used you never know what condition the reflectors are in.
  5. Could get it retrimmed in fresh leather. It's also possible to get steering wheels reshaped to your liking if you want to go for an oem+ look. Another option would be a mk3 steering wheel, there's quite a few posts in this forum about it, give it a search.
  6. Wouldn't recommend using any form of "stop-leak" can cause more harm than good
  7. How wide are they? I have 17x8 et37 on my hatchback. They would have to come out about 10mm more to be flush with the fender.
  8. Could be that the contacts of the indicator stalk need to be cleaned. Could also be a bad stalk
  9. You can go with a model specific Android head unit. They usually come with everything included, plug in wiring, adapters and so on. Second option would be a 2din head unit but these don't really suit the styling of the rest of the interior in my opinion.
  10. Does anyone know if the coilovers from a mk6 golf would fit an octavia 2? I've been offered a set of Koni coilovers with H&R springs for fairly cheap but don't know if they'd fit or not.
  11. You would have to replace the projectors which isn't really worth the hassle as they are not designed to be replaced. To get the old projectors out on prefl you would have cut off the headlight lens as it's permanently bonded to the housing. Only option is to buy new headlights. I wouldn't recommend going with used because with burnt out reflectors you might as well use candles as headlights 😅
  12. Should be fine, I have 8j ET37 on my vrs and they sit quite nicely under the fender
  13. I've been considering ordering a cold air intake for my mk2 vrs to unlock some induction noises and to also get rid of the factory engine cover airfilter housing as mine has broken in half. But I'm worried that it may cause issues with the MAF sensor. What are people's experiences with this, have you had any issues or is it just bolt on and enjoy?
  14. My current jack can't get underneath my car 😅, need a low profile one and its too low for me to get under there myself
  15. Anyone know the diameter on the stock exhaust? Have to replace mine from the axelback. 2.0tfsi
