Hi all,

In recent weeks we have noticed a few oil spots on the drive under the engine bay of our Mk1 Octavia 1.9TDi. I don't think it is anything serious as the oil level does not appear to have gone down on the dipstick.

I will book it into the local dealer to look at as it is still under warranty. Nevertheless I wonder if anyone has any similar experiences, to satisfy my own curiosity? I note that when it was serviced back in January the dealer noted something about tightening something due to oil leak around turbo - connected perhaps?

Will also be asking them to look at minor creaking noise above front drivers side front wheel - I think I've seen something about that on here before?

Will ne going into uncharted territory now as we have moved to a new area and Sherlodge Garage in Gillingham are the nearest. Any experiences of this dealer?

Creaks probably ARB related or radiator mounts.

Oil leak, let the dealer do it again sounds like it may be from where they repaired before though.
