Just joined the club so be nice.

I am about to view a roomster 2012 is there anything i should look out for,it’s a 1.6 TDI 

Private sale or dealer?

Same as any car your thinking about buying...

Make sure all the electrical systems work properly, open and close the windows fully a few times.

check for rust or bubbling paint that could have rust underneath.

give it a really good test drive, on as varied road conditions as you can, and dont be afraid to give it a of full throttle to make sure it doesnt throw any errora or limp mode.

Have you looked at the Roomster forums on this site as there will lots of info there and owners that know about the vehicle and possibly good value insure, you never want cheap insurance as if you need to claim cheap insurance can prove to be poor value of even low premium.

Are you aware of the Defeat Device Scandal and then the VW Voluntary Recall and a 1.6 TDI CR maybe having had the New Engine Management and a Flow Device fitted.

Some cars never went in to get as Owners never wanted done, some were done if the car at a main dealers. Some done and owners had Rolled Back.
