have just seen my first Elroq at local dealers, raining too hard to investigate further, but impressed by seeing one in the flesh, certainly bigger than I expected, one review said "this little SUV", but not my impression at all, did not seem much lower than my IX3, shorter yes.

Mayber I'm a cynic, but reading that cars are built and awaiting shipping for pretty well a month now suggests that Skoda are holding cars back until people have the opportunity to see them in the showrrom rather than on the road. Keefy had an email from his dealer on 28th Jan to say his car was built and awaiting shipment, and then Fillst on Saturday, but no mention of when they might see them. Could be that no-one sees their car before the dreaded 1st April

thats why I kept mine just under the 40k, will miss some of the bits though 

 

what really gets to me is the dealers lack of response to phone calls and e mails, can never get hold of the salesperson then he e mails you to say car has left factory which is what they said in January, but the dealer cars are definitely starting to arrive I saw two in a different Škoda dealer to where I am getting mine

 

just to reiterate though I think the car looked really good

I guess, for us, it's not that big a problem. It'd be nice not to pay it, but we already pay it on our Volvo XC40 PHEV which is a car we don't particularly rate, so paying it on the Elroq won't be a disaster, especially if we like the car which, if it's as comfortable as a Karoq, and drives like an Enyaq, shouldn't be a problem. Here's hoping.

My dealer has just confirmed (is he correct). That there is no USB port on the rear view mirror

I shall confirm either way on Saturday

That's a shame but never mind ..on the plus side there is a 12v socket in boot for any rear cam if people decide not to go hard wired.

Just pressed the button on a Sportline 85 Advanced in Race Blue, saw a SE at the dealership yesterday and first impressions are good even on the more basic model, shame there is no sunroof option , quality in the front is very good, the rear i will say is a bit less so with more hard plastics. The boot is very good with lots of different storage areas and even some shallow areas under the floor...overall coming from a Tesla Model 3 im very excited..at least it has more soul that the Tesla !

did they give you an eta for delivery, my  dealer seems to have gone quite, and just sends a weekly e mail "not long now" agree with you on the sunroof as would have liked to keep one as have had one for a while now.

No not yet, other than many are arriving next month, however, as ive only just confirmed im probably a little futher down the line than some that are ready for shipment...my guess is after 1st April...for obvious reasons 🤔

Had an email from Skoda today inviting me to book a test drive. It says "ahead of the all-new Elroq hitting showrooms in April, we're sending an exclusive preview fleet on a nationwide tour" If dealers aren't getting showroom cars until April, my gut says no-one else is getting one before April either.  Probably explains why the dealers have gone quiet. Of course, I could be totally wrong but, only time will tell.

That seems to fit in,  I was first told that mine had left the factory in January, but even at that point dealer would not guarantee a pre April delivery, it could be like the Kia EV3 that did a showroom tour and presentation before orders could be placed

Despite my doom and gloom, it's interesting to go onto the Skoda website. If you go onto used cars and then select new (sounds daft I know), there are 1126 new Elroqs, all available in 1 to 2 weeks and a few available for immedate delivery. Not sure what to think anymore. 

Test drive tomorrow! Will try and take some photos if i can mind.

It is most likely that people will be driving around in pre-registered "stock" before people who placed orders.

Estimate stock date of 13 June , no delivery date as yet 😟

just joined as I am looking to order soon. I just had a test drive today, maybe one of the first in the UK? It was an 85 Edition with MAXX package and DCC, with Suite trim, coincidentally what I am looking to get. For those who ordered sight unseen I can reassure you that you won’t be disappointed! I absolutely loved it. Plenty of headroom, enough oomph for anyone, very comfortable ride, especially with DCC set to Comfort, and yet felt very nimble through corners. Excellent audio system too. 
I guess I just need to decide on a colour. Any thoughts on which looks best?

I went for the moon white as loved the contrast with black bits etc. Second choice would have been the race blue. My last 2 cars have been silver and grey so wanted something fresh.

Hi Guys...i had my  Elroq test drive today ..i have posted a long review of it on my reddit group....i am newish to reddit so took me a while to sort it but for some reason i had to have another post just for the images.

I also got my VIN number today but tracking does not seem to work via the Skoda app as some people suggested as comes up with an error message. However i am told my Elroq is currently in Germany and still on course for handover end of March all being well.
