Elroq: Who else has ordered?

Hello All,

just joined as I am looking to order soon. I just had a test drive today, maybe one of the first in the UK? It was an 85 Edition with MAXX package and DCC, with Suite trim, coincidentally what I am looking to get. For those who ordered sight unseen I can reassure you that you won’t be disappointed! I absolutely loved it. Plenty of headroom, enough oomph for anyone, very comfortable ride, especially with DCC set to Comfort, and yet felt very nimble through corners. Excellent audio system too.
I guess I just need to decide on a colour. Any thoughts on which looks best?

Itsinteresting that they let you drive an 85 Edition with Maxx and DCC. DCC is in the Driver Pack which is only available on the Sportline in the UK. We ordered an 85 Edition with Maxx and Suite trim. If it comes with DCC and the 3 spoke steering wheel, there'll be no complaints from me, but I'll not hold my breath. We settled  for Velvet Red metallic. An extra £400 I know but in the scheme of things it's less than 1% of the purchase price. There'll not be that many about which will make it easier to find in the Tesco carpark. We had a Karoq in Velvet Red and it looked stunning, or at least, I thought so 😃

I also got my VIN number today but tracking does not seem to work via the Skoda app as some people suggested as comes up with an error message. However i am told my Elroq is currently in Germany and still on course for handover end of March all being well.

How do cars get to Randalstown? We live close to the A75 about 30 miles east of Stranraer and we see loads of  transporters loaded with new cars heading for the Cairnryan/Belfast ferry. I think they collect them from North Shields. If yours is coming that route, I'll keep an eye out for it. 😂

Many thanks! Mine is moon white with Go Faster Red Stripe..easy to spot!  Joking..  Haha. Be so cool if you actually did see a batch of Elroq's on the way over.

I had understood that DCC (therefore Driver Pack) is available on any 85. Otherwise, how could the Edition I drove have had it? At the moment I don’t see the Driver Pack available at all on the configurator but the sales guy said that will change soon (not that we should ever believe sales guys). I like the look of the red but I must admit the Timiano Green intrigues me.

Demonstrator vehicles are often fitted with optional packs, listed on a Card next to the car in the showroom. Also why  reviewers always show RRP and price as tested in the stats.

So it must be the intention to have them available to order

My test drive model today was the same..a little confusing but noticed the 3 spoke steering wheel straight away...would be great if it turned out to be a last minute design change by Skoda for the 85 edition :)

If anyone does manage to get tracking working from their Skoda app after entering the VIN number please let me /us know. Thank you.

ROLL CALL---Everyone still here after 2 days of downtime?

I was reading the Elroq manual via the Skoda app (Linked to VIN number ) and it mentioned that the Elroq has ventilated seats...the last car i had that had ventilated seats was a Hyundia Ioniq hybrid.

Great addition if it indeed does have it. I have emailed Skoda UK to confirm not a mistake as not mentioned in specs. May need a pack.. not sure.

Hi all,

Just joined this forum. I’ve ordered an Elroq 85 Edition in Race Blue through my work’s salary sacrifice scheme. No options available other than the colour to get the deal I got unfortunately! Online portal shows a VIN and confirmation that it’s been released from the factory. It should be with the dealer late March 2025. My local dealer has allowed me to book a test drive of one on Saturday 8 March - hoping I like it!

Coming from an Ioniq 5 that I also ordered before I test drove and will be sad to see that go. The Elroq has big shoes to fill as everyday family transport!

Cheers,

J

Excellent and you are very welcome. When did you place your order for your edition 85 and may i ask what online portal are you referring to? Do you mean the dealers online portal? Good luck with your test drive.I am sure you will love it :)

I ordered on 18 Feb 2025. It's the Tusker portal (scheme administrator for my company). They had it listed as a "In Stock/Coming soon" car and still have 20+ listed as arriving "Mid-April" interestingly. Thanks, I've driven an Enyaq and liked that so hopefully not too different.

Wow !… I ordered mine ( 85 Sportline in Race Blue with Advanced pack) Feb 26 and had a delivery on mid June advised !!
must be the advanced pack that is the delay as not a stock model maybe ?

I think the commonly used statement "car shown is not UK spec comes to mind" That said, I'm not sure where RH drive cars would be going at this stage if not the UK. Watching a number of the Youtube video reviews, it was mentioned a couple of times that DCC wouldn't be available on UK spec cars other that the Sportline. In much the same way the the Sportline 85x wont be coming to the UK. If you go onto any of the European configurators, you can add the Sport Pack for about 900 euro's. Interesting also is that Velvet Red in Skoda's homeland is the same price as the other metallics. I now feel like I've been mugged to the tune of £400. ☹️

I wonder where all these demo edition 85 elroqs with DCC will end up given that they are only at dealers for a week at a time. The 3 spoke steering wheel felt very premium and comfortable too. That is annoying about an extra £400 when no extra charge in other markets...at least you have a great colour and will be a lot less Velvet Red on the roads so more exclusive.

My bad, I can confirm that only the Sportline 85 has DCC offered in the UK. This is a shame. So now I have a choice:

Sportline on 20" wheels and lower, stiffer suspension but with DCC to mitigate this (DCC made a HUGE difference to ride quality on the test drive)

Edition on 19" wheels and standard suspension but no DCC so no option to adjust

My old bones favour comfort nowadays so what do you reckon?

Also, anyone opted for the heat pump? I have one in my EV6 but I have no idea if it has made any difference.

Seen a few reviews where they say the DCC wasn’t worth the cost , I decided against it and went for 20”

As for the heat pump think this would be more beneficial for the smaller units

I'm almost with LincsToffee. I agree that there are reviews saying DCC isn't worth the extra cash, nor the Heatpump. As far as the wheels are concerned, I liked the look of the 20" Vega Alloys, but I too have old creaky bones and decided that the standard 19" Regulus Anthricite Alloys would be more comfortable and easier to keep clean. My only regret with my order is that I let the wife talk me out of the towbar, although with the Edition, towbar prep is included so, presumably, Skoda Dealerships should be able to fit the towbar after delivery.

Has anyone had any delivery dates as yet, when I can actually get hold of my salesperson, only by e mailing, never get them on the phone, just get an e mail, not long now!!

I really get fed up with the lack of communication and seriously thinking of walking away and doing a deal on a Ford Explorer delivery in 1 week.

No confirmed delivery date. Just the same message as you that the delivery will be very soon in March.

Not sure when you guys ordered but to refresh i ordered 85 edition moon white 10th December and have been told i should have it by end of March but i am allowing end of April in my head as i really want it by then at the very latest. I have only asked dealer once for an update on build date and once again for delivery timescale when i had test drive last week.. I am going to wait for the dealer to phone and not get too fixated on where my car is ..as app cannot tell me anyway ...i am going to try and sell my existing car soon via carwow which should be fun.

10th December for me, what really gets me is dealer confirmed by e mail no usb socket on rear view mirror, but they could hardwire a dash cam, sent details of camera, and they promised to be back that day, with a cost despite 3 chasing e mails and 3 weeks later no response

Not good...i am going to try and re-use my 70mai webcam i currently have ..it is plugged into my MG rearview mirror so will miss that very handy feature when i switch but just need an extra long usb cable and lots of patience to work the cable somewhat tidy route to usb power on the elroq.
