Dash option Map view - no starting

Featured Replies

My Superb has had the 'mapping loading’ message since new in December 2024. Sent months being promised an update. Went in for the ACC stick replacement in July and they kept it for 4 days to do all the software updates. Maps now appear in the virtual cockpit and ACC works perfectly. Hope you have similar luck.

There’s now a major update available on the Mk11 which covers all the control models in the car and the infotainment as well.

Mine is booked in for two days shortly. Your experience makes it likely that it will sort the map view issue too.

Fingers crossed.

My Infotainment system is still permanently locked and always trying to connect to the registered users . I am planning to spend £1300 to replace the 2 units which apparently may be the failure.

On a Mk11?

Surely it would be covered by warranty

My Skoda is 2020 and I didnt have an extended warranty. The system therefore wasnt covered by warranty . The Infotainment system has regularly shown a mode where it wont communicate with the SIM or external systems , since I bought the car three years ago and the system regularly went into a non operating mode since I bought it . it regularly happened on a journey longer than 100 miles. In hindsight I should have flagged it as a warranty issue sooner.

So… a Mk1 then, not a Mk2.

Maybe post in the Mk1 forum to see if you can find an answer there?
